BASIS

Basis (System Administration)

10 sections ใƒป 60 quiz questions

SAP Basis is the technical layer the business modules run on. Where FI and SD are about what the system does, Basis is about keeping it running: building systems, managing users and authorisations, moving developments between systems, monitoring performance, and securing the whole thing.

Basis work is invisible when it goes well and stops the entire company when it does not, which makes its responsibilities quite unlike those of a functional module.

These ten sections begin with system architecture and the client concept, then cover authorisations, transports, background jobs, monitoring, printing, patching, performance and security.
