SD Module Overview

SD (Sales and Distribution) manages the end-to-end sales process: order receipt, shipping, and billing.

The core process is called OTC (Order to Cash): Inquiry → Quotation → Sales Order → Delivery → Billing → Payment.

SD integrates closely with FI (accounts receivable), MM (inventory), and PP (production planning).

The organizational structure uses Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, and Division to form a Sales Area.
