CO Module Overview
CO (Controlling) is the SAP module responsible for internal cost management and profitability analysis. While FI focuses on external financial reporting, CO provides internal information to support management decisions.
CO is closely integrated with FI — financial data generated in FI is automatically passed to CO. Because of this tight link, the two modules are often written together as "FI/CO".
